Why AML-CTF is mandatory ?

Wakam is an entity subject to AML-CTF regulations
Before entering into relationship with a customer (directly or indirectly), Wakam needs to know if this person (natural ou legal person) is subject to a national or international sanction or known for money laundering offences.
To fullfill this obligation, Wakam needs to perform a screening of the customer against relevant lists
This obligation applies throughout the life of the contract and until payment of the claims
In the event of a match, this must be cleared before any operation can be carried out
